Equity and Local Economy

Equity and Local Economy is a Sustainability Pillar in our Sustainability Strategy 2021 -2031. The relevant key principle is: 'We value the local economy and want to optimise how all members of our community can benefit from sustainable investment'. Our objectives related to this pillar are:

  • Commit to supporting local economy through all Shire operations
  • Support the community to promote a circular economy and buy local philosophy
  • Advocate and support attracting businesses with a shared vision in sustainable transformation to Denmark, including eco-tourism
